‍ ‍ Changes in Thailand’s visa policy

Starting from 15 July, tourists from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be able to visit Thailand without a visa for up to 60 days. This innovation will also apply to citizens of other countries, who will be able to exercise this right from that date.

According to the clarified rules, the total number of countries with visa-free access will increase. The new list includes countries such as Albania, Cambodia, China, India, Jamaica, Laos, Mexico, Morocco, Panama, Romania and Sri Lanka, which will allow citizens of these countries to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days without the need for a visa.

These changes are aimed at boosting Thailand’s economy and tourism industry and follow the government’s decision in principle on the issue. They are expected to come into effect on 15 July and should help attract more tourists to the wonderful country of Thailand.
