Cancer Center: Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) announced the opening of its own cancer center in Phuket in 2024. This will be the first cancer center in the Andaman region of Thailand and will see patients on both a commercial and government basis.

HPV vaccination: Vaccination of schoolgirls against Human Papillomavirus (HPV, HPV) has begun in Phuket as part of a nationwide campaign to combat female cancers.

Together with these activities and improvements, Phuket continues to be one of the safest and healthiest places to vacation.
