A re-entry permit is required for any type of long-term visa.
1️⃣ You need to travel to the city of Korat, where they will affix a document confirming the start of your visa processing (done within 1 hour). The transfer will then take you back to Bangkok.

2️⃣ Within 2-3 weeks, we will receive a notification that you can have the first stamp placed on your temporary 3-month visa. The passport is sent by mail to Bangkok.
3️⃣ After the 3 months, you go to Korat in one day and get a 12-month visa 🎉
